The Pinal Ruin is located along a bend of the Salt River just upstream from where it flows into Roosevelt Lake north of Globe, Arizona. There doesn’t seem to be an official trail leading to the ruins but it seems possible to hike along or near the bank of the Salt River to get to them. For turn-by-turn directions to a pullout near the bridge over the Salt River enter ‘33.61880, -110.92265’ into your driving app. These look like substantial ruins on Google Earth.
Included with this post is the GPS file and map that we plan to use for our first visit. If you don't want to wait for us to get around to it feel free to try the GPS file and map for yourself. With no guarantee, of course, but they most often prove valuable for us.
