Along the Golf Course Road, in Holbrook, Arizona, on the way to the Hidden Cove Petroglyphs, are 3 other panels of petroglyphs that are well worth visiting. Getting close enough for good photos of 2 of the panels requires scrambling up moderately steep slopes while the 3rd, and best, of the panels is much easier to reach.

Just north of Winona, Arizona there are 8 ruins that are located in the vicinity of San Francisco Wash. Four of the ruins are on National Forest land, 2 are on Arizona Trust Land, and 2 appear to be on private property. The site that we have labeled as Ruin 6 consists of a handful of pueblo style rooms that were built like nests in a prominent outcrop of basalt.

The Pregnant Sheep Panel is located near the Musket Shot Springs Overlook between Jensen, Utah and Dinosaur, Colorado. The site includes a number of Vernal Style petroglyphs that are located high up on a cliff only a short distance from the highway.

The Chew Ranch Petroglyphs is a well known site on the border of the Dinosaur National Monument east of Vernal, Utah. Found at the site are a number of Fremont Style petroglyphs.

This post is for several panels of petroglyphs and a panel of pictographs that can be found in the Canyon Pintada area along West Douglas Creek near Rangely, Colorado. Unlike the other Canyon Pintada sites that you can drive right up to these require almost 3 round trip miles of hiking to visit.
