Pueblo Canyon is located in the Cherry Creek drainage north of Globe, Arizona. Along the trail through the canyon are found 4 ruins. To get there, drive north on the Cherry Creek road from AZ-288, near Lake Roosevelt, for 23 miles, or south from the upper end of the Cherry Creek Road for 17.2 miles and turn onto FR 3214 where you should be able to drive another 0.7 miles before you begin hiking. The trail shows up on maps and appears to be an official route. For turn-by-turn directions enter the coordinates for the turnoff ‘33.83872, -110.86731’ into your driving app.
