The Mule Hoof Ruins are located in the Tonto National Forest off of US 60/AZ-77 northeast of Globe, Arizona. It is hard to see any ruins on Google Earth but it is a short hike to find out. For turn-by-turn directions enter the trailhead coordinates ‘33.79827, -110.54213’ into your driving app. It should have you turn off of US 60 onto Philips Mine Road toward the Seneca Lake Recreation Area. Continue for 4 miles and turn right for less than a mile or so to where we marked a suitable looking trailhead. From there it is a half mile hike to where the ruins are supposed to be.
It should be about 2.7 miles from the trailhead to the ruins.
