The Chisholm trail is located in the Horsethief Mountain Biking Area near Moab, Utah. This post covers the newest section of the trail that connects the Horsethief with the Navajo Rocks Mountain Biking Trails. The trail begins at the West Horsethief trailhead near the BLM's Horsethief Campground. From there it works its way northward across sagebrush flats and through pinions and junipers taking a fun route along various canyon rims and washes until it comes to an end at the Big Lonely trail that is part of the Navajo Rocks Mountain Biking Area.

The 7-Up trail is part of the Gemini Bridges Trails Area near Moab, Utah. The trail begins at the Magnificent 7 trailhead off of the Gemini Bridges Road where it makes use of both singletrack trails and old jeep roads for a mostly downhill run that ends at the switchbacks on Highway 313 near the Monitor and Merrimac Viewpoint. The trail runs parallel with the south fork of Sevenmile Canyon. Its elevated route, which follows branches of the canyon's rim at times, gives the trail it's familiar sounding name. Most people ride the trail one-way which requires a shuttle.

The Hildalgo trail is part of the Horsethief Mountain Bike Trails area near Moab, Utah. The 6 tenths of a mile long trail provides a short connecting route between the Wildcat and 7-Up trails opening up the possibilities to create various loops with the other trails in the area. Hildalgo was a horse of western legend and movie fame owned and ridden by endurance rider Frank Hopkins in the 3,000 mile Arabian Desert Classic of 1890 where his Spanish Mustang pony Hidalgo beat the best of more than 100 prize Arabians entered in the race.

The Wildcat trail is part of the Horsethief Mountain Bike Trails near Moab, Utah. The trail begins off of the Whirlwind Loop where it travels for less than a mile through a small valley that drains into the South Fork of Seven Mile Canyon. The trail is connected to by the Hildalgo trail and comes to an end at a junction with the 7-Up trail. Loops of different lengths can be created by combining the Wildcat trail with other trails in the area.
