The Chisholm trail is located in the Horsethief Mountain Biking Area near Moab, Utah. This post covers the newest section of the trail that connects the Horsethief with the Navajo Rocks Mountain Biking Trails. The trail begins at the West Horsethief trailhead near the BLM's Horsethief Campground. From there it works its way northward across sagebrush flats and through pinions and junipers taking a fun route along various canyon rims and washes until it comes to an end at the Big Lonely trail that is part of the Navajo Rocks Mountain Biking Area.

The Middle Earth trail is located in the Navajo Rocks Mountain Biking Area north of Moab, Utah. The trail begins on the south side of Highway 313, across from the Wipeout Hill trailhead, where it cuts across some sandstone domes to the Coney Island trail. The Middle Earth trail is a nice alternative to riding the old dirt jeep road and the highway when going to and from the Wipeout Hill trailhead and the Rock Tops and Coney Island trails.

The Coney Island trail is located north of Moab, Utah in the Navajo Rocks Mountain Bike Area. The 3 mile long trail connects to the Big Lonely trail on it west end and travels east above Seven Mile Canyon where it connects to the Rocky Tops trail. To make the sandy sections of the upper end of the trail manageable it should be ridden in the counterclockwise direction. The trail can be combined with the Big Mesa and Big Lonely trails to make a loop that is about 10.4 miles.

The Big Lonely trail is located in the Navajo Rocks Mountain Bike Area north of Moab, Utah. The 3 mile long trail connects the west end of the Big Mesa trail with the west end of the Coney Island trail. All three trails can be combined to form one big loop that is around 10.4 miles long.
