Wagon Cave is located in the Ventana Wilderness Area of the Los Padres National Forest near Monterey, California. Found at the site is a cave that was once an ancient habitation site, later repurposed as a stagecoach station, and some bedrock mortars.
For turn-by-turn directions enter 36.08404, -121.40096 into your driving app. From Jolon you will follow the Mission Road for 7.8 miles before turning left onto Del Venturi and following that for the remaining 11.5 miles to the trailhead.
