The Steam Well Petroglyphs is a well known site near Red Mountain, California.
For turn-by-turn directions enter 35.38030, -117.54033 into your driving app. Just outside of Red Mountain on US-395 you will be directed to turn right onto the Tona Road. After 1.3 miles turn right onto the Granite Wells Road. From there it is another 4.1 miles to the trailhead and a hike of about 1 mile to the petroglyphs.
