Slippery Rock is located in the Keyesville South Recreation Site along the Kern River near Lake Isabella, California. Two boulders with petroglyphs can be found at the site.
For turn-by-turn directions enter 35.63766, -118.48283 into your driving app. From CA-178 take Exit 43 and drive north on Wofford Heights Blvd., CA-155, for 0.6 miles and turn left into the Keyesville South Recreation Site. From there follow the road around to the right to the trailhead.
