Rocky Hill Pictographs

GPS planning file and map.

The Rocky Hill Pictographs are located near Exeter, California. The site is owned by the Archeological Conservancy and is not open to the general public. While the site boasts what might be the most splendid assortment of pictographs in the State of California they can only be seen by obtaining a guided tour. From what we have discovered up to this point is that the tours don't occur on a regular basis but generally only upon the request of certain groups. You might be able to begin your inquiries on the Archeological Conservancy website.

If you are so fortunate as to be able to get on one of these tours I'm sure they will provide you with all of the necessary information to get to the meet up place which appears to be near 36.28133, -119.08032.

Included with this post is the GPS file and map that we plan to use for our first visit. If you don't want to wait for us to get around to it feel free to try the GPS file and map for yourself. With no guarantee, of course, but they most often prove valuable for us.
