The Hackberry Wash Petroglyphs are located in the Mojave National Preserve southeast of Baker, California. Petroglyphs can be found somewhere between the mouth of the wash and Hackberry Spring.
To get there from the north take I-15 Exit 286. Follow the Nipton Road for 3.4 miles, turn right onto the Ivanpah Road and continue for 32 miles and turn right onto the Ford Dry Lake Road. After 1.7 miles stay to the left and continue up the wash on the Hackberry Spring Road looking for petroglyphs all along the way.
Included with this post is the GPS file and map that we plan to use for our first visit. If you don't want to wait for us to get around to it feel free to try the GPS file and map for yourself. With no guarantee, of course, but they most often prove valuable for us.
