The Willow Wash Petroglyphs are located just off of the Kelbaker Road in the Mojave National Preserve south of Baker, California. The site includes more than a dozen petroglyphs etched upon basalt cliffs.

The well known Indian Well Petroglyphs, a.k.a. Lanfair Buttes, are located in the Mojave National Preserve northwest of Needles, California. The well was a major source of water in the vast parched Mojave Desert from ancient times to the era of the Mojave Road and Government Road. Hundreds of petroglyphs can be found on the boulder covered hillside all around the well.

Rock Spring is located off of the old Mojave Road in the vast Mojave National Preserve northwest of Needles, California. Being a key desert spring it has been visited probably for hundreds of years by native people who left signs of their passing on some of the boulders in the way of petroglyphs.
