Yellow Jacket Spring Ruin

GPS planning file and map.

The Yellow Jacket Spring Ruin is one we found marked on a topo map about 12 miles south of Twin Arrows, Arizona. To get there, take I-40 Exit 219 and drive south on Forest Road 126 for 8.8 miles. Turn right at that point onto Forest Road 233A. Follow that for 3.9 miles and find a place to park. From there the ruin will be about a quarter mile southwest. The ruin isn’t obvious on Google Earth and neither is a trail.

Included with this post is the GPS file and map that we plan to use for our first visit. If you don't want to wait for us to get around to it feel free to try the GPS file and map for yourself. With no guarantee, of course, but they most often prove valuable for us.
