The Tolchico Ruins are on the Navajo Indian Reservation north of Leupp, Arizona. We found the ruins marked on a topo map on a mesa above the Little Colorado River. To get there, drive north from Leupp on Navajo Route 6950 for 6.1 miles and bear right. Continue for another 1.2 miles to the ruins. We don’t know for sure if visitors are allowed at the site.
Included with this post is the GPS file and map that we plan to use for our first visit. If you don't want to wait for us to get around to it feel free to try the GPS file and map for yourself. With no guarantee, of course, but they most often prove valuable for us.
