The Hatalacva Pueblo is about a mile northwest of the ruins in the Tuzigoot National Monument in Clarkdale, Arizona. The ruins sit on a ridge overlooking the Verde River on one side and Peck’s Lake on the other and are about the same size as Tuzigoot. To get there, turn off of the Tuzigoot Road onto North Sycamore Canyon. After a half mile turn right onto North Peck’s Lake Road. Just under another ¾ of a mile there should be a pullout loop on the left that serves as the trailhead. From there it looks like there is a trail that climbs the ridge to the ruins.
Included with this post is the GPS file and map that we plan to use for our first visit. If you don't want to wait for us to get around to it feel free to try the GPS file and map for yourself. With no guarantee, of course, but they most often prove valuable for us.
