The Dripping Spring Petroglyphs is a site near Quartzite, Arizona that we haven't visited yet. From Quartzite head east on I-10 for about 7 miles to Exit 26 and begin by following the Gold Nugget Road. After 2.4 miles turn right onto BLM-0059. Continue for another 3.4 miles and go right onto BLM-0059E. This road eventually becomes BLM-0061 and reaches Dripping Spring after 2 miles. Our understanding is that some of this route is a very rough 4WD road. According to Petry, Rock Art of Arizona, there are 8-9 petroglyph panels including some to the left of the Dripping Springs Cave.
Included with this post is the GPS file and map that we plan to use for our first visit. If you don't want to wait for us to get around to it feel free to try the GPS file and map for yourself. With no guarantee, of course, but they most often prove valuable for us.
