Cottonwood Canyon Petroglyphs

GPS planning file and map.

The Cottonwood Canyon Petroglyphs is a site north of Florence, Arizona that we haven't visited yet. To get there drive north from Florence for 11 miles, or south from Highway-60 for 5.4 miles, and turn east onto the East Cottonwood Canyon Road, BLM 6120. You should be able to enter 'Cottonwood Canyon Road Sand Dunes and Campgrounds' to get turn-by-turn directions to the turnoff. Follow the E. Cottonwood Canyon Road for about 6.6 miles to its junction with the N Reyment Road and park. Hike up the wash for 0.6 miles to the petroglyphs passing a couple of other panels along the way.

Included with this post is the GPS file and map that we plan to use for our first visit. If you don't want to wait for us to get around to it feel free to try the GPS file and map for yourself. With no guarantee, of course, but they most often prove valuable for us.
