Cline Creek Ruins

GPS planning file and map.

The Cline Creek Ruins is a site near Phoenix, Arizona that we haven't visited yet. Two different trailheads are used to access the ruins. Ruin I can be hiked via the Quail Springs trail beginning at the trailhead at the end of 12th Street. To get there take I-17 Exit 232 and follow the New River Road east. When you get to East Circle Mountain Road turn left. Follow that to 12th Street and turn left again. Drive north to the end of 12th Street and the trailhead.

To get to the east ruins find your way to the trailhead that's at the end of 20th Street. After you hike up to Ruin III and the Petroglyphs there doesn't appear to be an official trail up to Ruin II so we can't give an idea of how difficult it might be to get to that point.

Included with this post is the GPS file and map that we plan to use for our first visit. If you don't want to wait for us to get around to it feel free to try the GPS file and map for yourself. With no guarantee, of course, but they most often prove valuable for us.
