The Clover Ruin is located at the Williams District Ranger Station, of the Kaibab National Forest, just west of Williams, Arizona. Found at the site are the partial remains of a 3-4 room pueblo style structure that was in use about 1,000 years ago.

The easiest way to get there and find the trailhead is to enter the GPS coordinates 35.23722, -112.21731 into your driving app. If you enter just the Williams District Ranger Station into your driving app you are then left to find the location of the trailhead amongst all the roads and buildings. Short of that take I-40 Exit 161, turn west on Old Route 66 to the South Clover Road. Turn left onto the South Clover Road, in another 914 feet turn right, and in about 240 more feet the trailhead will be on your right.

An information kiosk at the trailhead helps visitors to get the most out of their visit and gain some additional insights into the archeological history of the area.

Another kiosk near the ruin provides even more information as well as a map of the ruins that lie before you.

Still remaining above ground amongst the rubble of the various rooms is a long stone wall with the upright posts of another wall. Scattered around these are the fallen roof supports.

The information kiosk at the trailhead mentions petroglyphs at both of the nearby sites of Laws Spring and Keyhole Sink. It refers visitors to stop in at the Ranger Station to 'pick up an information sheet on those hikes'. The links above will also take you to our own information which is a little more detailed. As far as the Clover Ruin goes, if you would like to see it for yourself all you have to do is 'Take a hike'.
