The Black Mountain Ruins is a site near Rye, Arizona that we haven't visited yet. Access is via Forest Service Road 417, the Gisela Road. Drive up the road for about 1.8 miles and look for a route on the left. The ruins are about 0.6 miles from that point on the summit of Black Mountain.
Included with this post is the GPS file and map that we plan to use for our first visit. If you don't want to wait for us to get around to it feel free to try the GPS file and map for yourself. With no guarantee, of course, but they most often prove valuable for us.
