The Black Canyon Petroglyphs is a site near Heber, Arizona that we haven't visited yet. They are found along the Black Canyon Road just outside of Heber along with a rock shelter and the Polimana Pictographs. To get there, turn off of AZ-260, just west of Heber, onto Black Canyon Road where it will be about 3.5 miles to the site. The petroglyph site doesn’t seem to be mentioned on the Black Canyon Auto Tour but it is marked on our topo map.
Included with this post is the GPS file and map that we plan to use for our first visit. If you don't want to wait for us to get around to it feel free to try the GPS file and map for yourself. With no guarantee, of course, but they most often prove valuable for us.
