The Pregnant Sheep Panel is located near the Musket Shot Springs Overlook between Jensen, Utah and Dinosaur, Colorado. The site includes a number of Vernal Style petroglyphs that are located high up on a cliff only a short distance from the highway.

The Chew Ranch Petroglyphs is a well known site on the border of the Dinosaur National Monument east of Vernal, Utah. Found at the site are a number of Fremont Style petroglyphs.

The McKee Spring Petroglyphs are located in the Dinosaur National Monument near Vernal, Utah. The site boasts several panels of very well preserved Fremont/Classic Vernal style petroglyphs. McKee Spring is about 22 miles from the Visitor Center in a semi remote area of the monument.

The Swelter Shelter is in the Dinosaur National Monument near Vernal, Utah. Located about a half mile past the Visitor Center it is the first stop on the Tour of the Slanted Rocks Drive. With numerous pictographs and petroglyphs the shelter is an example of the Fremont Indians life dating back over 1,000 years ago.

The Ely Creek Falls trail is located in the Dinosaur National Monument north of Vernal, Utah. The short trail begins near the 2 mile point of the Jones Hole trail where it travels up a side canyon for about a quarter mile to a small scenic waterfall that cascades over a 15 foot spillover. Enroute to the trail hikers have the opportunity to stop at the nearby Deluge Shelter and examine the Fremont style pictographs and petroglyphs.
