The Baker Archeological Site is located near the Great Basin National Park 61 miles east of Ely, Nevada and 6 miles west of the Nevada/Utah border along US Highways 6 & 50. Found at the site is a prehistoric Fremont Village where the buildings were arranged along lines of the Summer and Winter solstices.

The Hiko Springs Petroglyph Site is located 9 miles west of Laughlin, Nevada just off of Nevada Highway 163. There are maybe a score or more of petroglyphs at the site that still show up quite well.

Grapevine Canyon is located about 8 miles west of Laughlin, Nevada within the Spirit Mountains. One needs to only walk about a quarter mile up a broad sandy wash to find the rocks, high and low, on both sides of the canyon, covered with hundreds upon hundreds of archaic style petroglyphs making it one of the earliest and largest such sites in Southern Nevada.

The 21 Goats Panel is located in the Gold Butte National Monument near Mesquite, Nevada. A short hike up a wash on the north side of Black Butte is all it takes from your feet to see the panel but your seat will have to endure a couple hours of sitting as you negotiate the 20 miles of broken pavement that connects Gold Butte to civilization. A short side trip on the hike leads to a dam that was built by the Civilian Conservation Corp (CCC) back in the days of the Great Depression.
