Weavers Cave is a well known site that is located in the Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument near Escalante, Utah. Found at the site are 3 shallow alcoves that each have large numbers of intricate Barrier Canyon Style pictographs depicting, among other things, what look like sewing needles and blanket patterns. A couple of former habitation sites can be found on the opposite side of the canyon, one of which includes a grinding slick, and another with a partial piece of masonry wall.

The 13 Moons, High Checkerboard and Sky Rock petroglyph panels are all located within close proximity of each other in the Volcanic Tablelands area above the Chalk Bluff Road in Bishop, California.

The West Gold Hill Dinosaur Trackway is located near the end of the Silvershield trail in Ouray, Colorado. Found at the site are 134 consecutive footprints that were left roughly 150 million years ago by a sauropod dinosaur. At 106 yards long they form the longest known dinosaur trackway in the world.

The White Bird Shelter is one mile north of the Visitor Center in the Needles District of Canyonlands National Park near Monticello, Utah. The site includes numerous Barrier Canyon Style (BCS) anthropomorphic images, painted hands and the eponymous image of a 'White Bird'.

The Chidago Canyon Petroglyphs are located along the Fish Slough Road 16 miles north of Bishop, California. Scores of petroglyphs can be found on many of the basalt boulders that are heaped up against a short hill at the northeast corner of where the Fish Slough Road crosses Chidago Canyon.
