The Bull Canyon Dinosaur Tracks are located at an elevation of just over 8,500 feet in the Manti-La Sal National Forest near Moab, Utah. Several theropod trackways can be seen at the Bull Canyon site. The tracks date back to the Jurassic Period, 145-~200 million years ago, when the current area was a shallow coastal plain that was just above sea level.

The Gold Basin Nordic trail is located in the Geyser Pass Winter Sports Area in the La Sal Mountains near Moab, Utah. The trail begins off of the Geyser Pass trail where it climbs its way into Gold Basin in the shadows of the surrounding peaks that soar over 12,000 feet above sea level.

Beginners Meadow is located in the Geyser Pass Winter Sports Area of the La Sal Mountains near Moab, Utah. The meadow is located off of the Geyser Pass trail about a quarter mile from the trailhead. A loop can be made by combining the trail around the meadow with a short section of the Geyser Pass trail.

Junction Meadow is located in the Geyser Pass Winter Sports Area in the La Sal Mountains near Moab, Utah. The trailless meadow offers a backcountry location that is just steep enough on one side for a little telemark skiing. The meadow can be found about 1.25 miles from the Winter Sports Area trailhead making the minimum round trip distance come out to around 3.5 miles.

The Geyser Pass Nordic trail is located in the Geyser Pass Winter Sports Area in the La Sal Mountains near Moab, Utah. The trail begins at the Winter Sports trailhead where it climbs to Geyser Pass and beyond. During the summer months the trail is simply the Geyser Pass Road. In the winter time once there is sufficient snow the road is groomed to create a Nordic trail that is suitable for both classic and skate style cross country skiing. The trail is also open to snowshoeing, snowmobiling and fat tire mountain biking.

The Squaw Spring trail is located in the La Sal Mountains near Moab, Utah. The trail begins off of the Geyser Pass Road and stretches for 4.3 miles to the La Sal Pass Road. Enroute it provides access to the Brumley Arch trail at the 0.6 mile point and around the 3 mile point it comes to Squaw Spring from which the trail gets its name. The Squaw Spring trail also serves as a segment of the much longer Trans La Sal trail which begins with Bachelor Basin on the north and ends with the South Mountain trail.
