This small rubble pile pueblo ruin is found on a hill overlooking the Angell Road and Interstate 40 about 6 tenths of a mile east of Winona, Arizona.
The Angell Road begins just north of the Winona Exit 211 and runs east along the north side of I-40.
Take the left fork at the 2.7 mile point from Winona.
Within another 400 feet turn off to the right onto an obvious double track.
Continue over the hill and go straight at the next junction.
The ruins will be on the left at the top of a hill at the 3.2 mile point from Winona.
What you will find at the site is the rubble pile remains of maybe a half dozen pueblo style rooms.
A few shards of pottery are visible scattered about on the ground amongst the volcanic cinders. Be sure to leave all artifacts where you find them.
The double track road that travels past the ruins should be suitable for most 2WD vehicles during favorable conditions. An alternative route would be to park along the Angell Road and hike the 5 or 6 hundred feet up to the ruins. There isn't a lot to see at the site but it is interesting to note that it probably had line of sight vision with the Section 18 Ruins, and those at both Page and Fourvert Tanks. If you would like to see it for yourself then all you have to do is 'Take a hike'.
