Mule Canyon Geoglyphs

GPS planning file and map.

The Mule Canyon Geoglyphs are located in the Chuckwalla National Monument south of Blythe, California. The geoglyphs form what apparently were ritual dance circles of some sort. There are informational kiosks at the site. Nearby there are also some petroglyphs around an area called Mule Canyon Tank.

For turn-by-turn directions that will get you within 1.2 miles of the site enter 33.55983, -114.77479 into your driving app. You will be directed south from I-10, Exit 236, onto CA-78. Continue south of 4.4 miles and turn right on 22nd Avenue. Head west now on 22nd and then southwest as it becomes the Gravel Pit Road. After a short distance go right again, this time on the Powerline Road for 2.75 miles and turn left onto a 4WD road where the geoglyphs will be on your left in another 1.2 miles.
