Barker Dam is located in the Joshua Tree National Park near Twentynine Palms, California. Besides a nice scenic hiking loop there are both petroglyphs and pictographs that can be found in several places.
To get there, enter Barker Dam Parking Lot into your driving app for turn-by-turn directions or follow the map that they hand out at the Visitor Center.
