Union Pass Archeological Site

GPS planning file and map.

The Union Pass Archeological Site is about 19 miles west of Kingman, Arizona. From Kingman drive west on AZ-68 for about 19 miles to a turnoff on the right. The turnoff is a little past one of those pullouts where truckers can pullover and park for a while. There isn’t a sign for the turnoff so after crossing the cattle guard either find a place to park and begin hiking or perhaps see how much of the old 4WD road can be driven. When you reach the spring there are reportedly some petroglyphs to be found on some boulders We are unsure of anything else that might be there that gave the site its name.

Included with this post is the GPS file and map that we plan to use for our first visit. If you don't want to wait for us to get around to it feel free to try the GPS file and map for yourself. With no guarantee, of course, but they most often prove valuable for us.
