The Tumacacori National Historical Park is located next to I-19 about 48 miles south of Tucson, Arizona and about 29 miles north of the US/Mexico border. Found at the site is an old mission where O’odham, Yaqui, and Apache people met and mingled with European Jesuit and Franciscan missionaries. More information is available at nps.gov/tuma/index.htm.
Included with this post is the GPS file and map that we plan to use for our first visit. If you don't want to wait for us to get around to it feel free to try the GPS file and map for yourself. With no guarantee, of course, but they most often prove valuable for us.
