The Gray Wolf Ruins are located southwest of Camp Verde, Arizona. To get there, drive south from Camp Verde on I-17 and take Exit 278. Head west on AZ-169 for 1.7 miles and turn left onto FR-9604F. In 1,300 feet find a place to park and begin hiking west on the General Crook trail. Continue across Johnson Wash and somewhere around the half mile point begin hiking south toward a hill about 1,500 feet away where you will find the ruins.
