The Woolsey Wash Petroglyphs is a site near Gila Bend, Arizona that we haven't visited yet. There are supposed to be petroglyphs in Woolsey Wash but we aren't exactly sure where. What we marked on the map is a spot near the mouth of the wash that looks like a good as place as any to begin searching. Our thought is to turn off of the Painted Rocks Dam Road, before we get to the dam, onto the Poco Dinero Road and drive around that way to Woolsey Wash and while we are at it to the Gila Canyon petroglyphs. For turn-by-turn directions enter 'Painted Rock Dam' into your driving app and choose the one near Gila Bend, AZ. That will get a person most of the way there.
Included with this post is the GPS file and map that we plan to use for our first visit. If you don't want to wait for us to get around to it feel free to try the GPS file and map for yourself. With no guarantee, of course, but they most often prove valuable for us.
