The Robbins Butte Petroglyphs are located in the Robbins Butte Wildlife Area between Phoenix and Gila Bend, Arizona. Of the two petroglyph sites on Robbins Butte this post is for the one at the lower northwest corner of the butte.

For turn-by-turn directions enter 33.32041, -112.67474 into your driving app. If coming from Gila Bend it should direct you north on AZ-85 for 28 miles, or south from I-10 for 7.5 miles if coming from the north, and turning west onto the Narramore/Robbins Butte Road. Stay to the left at the first fork or you will have to hike all the way through the Wildlife Refuge to get to the butte. After 3.4 miles there will be multiple roads on the right that lead to Robbins Butte. Pick the one that drives around the west side of the butte and follow it to the trailhead where you will see a Respect the Past sign.

The petroglyphs are 67 feet higher in elevation at the rocky outcrop just above the trailhead.

Petroglyphs on one side of a balanced boulder are visible from below.

As you hike up to the point there will be a lot of petroglyphs that you will come to on many of the smaller rocks.

At the top of the ridge the petroglyphs on the sides of the balanced boulder that face away from the trailhead can be seen.

Looking around there are many other boulders with images. On this rock there were images made on top of older images leaving a somewhat blurry result.

This image is kind of interesting. The figure appears to have a snake in his hands stretched out above his head and the hollow circle in its chest shows what might be its heart.

Here's a rock with a large serpent with the head facing upwards.

Geometric designs.

There are a handful more of images that are in the following slideshow. There was enough to be seen at this site on Robbins Butte to make it worth the time if you are in the area. Another petroglyph site is located on the east facing side of the butte a little below the summit. If you would like to see them for yourself then all you have to do is 'Take a hike'.
