The Spiral Labyrinth in Palm Canyon, between Quartzite and Yuma, Arizona, is of unknown origin. It gets touched up often enough that it is presumed to be of recent construction. Any prehistoric evidence, if indeed there were any, has long been effaced.
To get there, drive south on US 95 from Quartzite for 19 miles or north from Yuma for 63 miles and turn east onto the Palm Canyon Road where it is 2.8 miles to the Spiral Labyrinth. If you would also like to see some palm trees that are native to Arizona you will want to continue on to Palm Canyon where a short hike will lead you to them. For turn-by-turn directions to the spiral you can enter ‘Spiral Labyrinth, AZ’ into your driving app.
Included with this post is the GPS file and map that we plan to use for our first visit. If you don't want to wait for us to get around to it feel free to try the GPS file and map for yourself. With no guarantee, of course, but they most often prove valuable for us.
