Knoll Site Water Glyphs

GPS planning file and map.

The Knoll Site Water Glyphs is a site between Colorado City and Fredonia, Arizona that we haven't visited yet. We originally heard about it from roadtripryan.com but when we went back for further information we got an 404 Not Found error. We still retained the GPS coordinates so we use those to work out a probable route by examining the roads in Google Earth.

To get there, drive west from Fredonia on AZ 389 for about 15 miles and turn left onto the Rouch Road, CR 241. Follow that for about 3.6 miles and turn onto the leftmost road. After driving for another 1.6 miles it looks like there might be a place to park out of the way. From there it would be an overland trek for about 6 tenths of a mile to the first group of water glyphs and then another quarter mile to the second group. It is libel to look a lot different once we get into the area so we will be prepared to alter our plans accordingly.

Included with this post is the GPS file and map that we plan to use for our first visit. If you don't want to wait for us to get around to it feel free to try the GPS file and map for yourself. With no guarantee, of course, but they most often prove valuable for us.
