Hunter Canyon Rim

The Hunter Rim trail is part of the Amasa Back Trails system near Moab, Utah. The trail begins at Kane Spring where it works its way toward the back of a small canyon and climbs up to a bench that it follows around the cliffs above the Kane Springs Road to Hunter Canyon. From there it continues along the same bench above Hunter Canyon until it comes to an end at an old jeep road.

The Jackson trail is located in the Amasa Back Trails area near Moab, Utah. The trail begins at the Kane Creek trailhead and ends at the Amasa Back/Cliffhanger Road. The trail gains almost 600 feet of elevation as it climbs from the Colorado River corridor to the upper rims of the cliffs that surround it. Enroute there are many very steep sections, sharp corners, and narrow ledges with dangerous cliff exposure.

Rockstacker is located in the Amasa Back Trails area near Moab, Utah. The lower end of the trail begins near the end of the Jackson trail. From there is climbs slickrock ledges with some dirt tracks until it ends at the Pothole Arch trail. There are several steep stretches, a few sharp corners, and some narrow spots.

Pothole Arch is located at the end of the Amasa Back/Cliffhanger road in the Amasa Back area near Moab, Utah. The trail crosses stretches of red dirt and rocky benches that lead to slickrock domes as it nears the end. Just past the one mile point the Pothole Arch trail is connected to by the upper end of the Rockstacker trail. The trail comes to an end in a hidden bowl where Pothole Arch can be seen off to one side.
