The Mill Creek I site is located just outside of the Fremont Indian State Park west of Richfield, Utah. The site includes 4 or so panels of Fremont style petroglyphs.
For turn-by-turn directions enter 38.56572, -112.35732 into your driving app. After taking I-70 Exit 17 go to the left along Mill Creek instead of to the right toward the Visitor Center. Continue on the gravel road as it crosses into the Fish Lake National Forest.
At the half mile point of the gravel road turn right toward the cliffs where you will find a cave where concrete was used to create a doorway.
Some faint petroglyphs can be found on the left side of the cave along with some graffiti.
The bulk of the petroglyphs are on the cliffs to the right of the cave.
Some of the images, like these that someone took potshots at, are a little faded.
There are, though, some that still show up pretty well.
This anthropomorphic image looks like it either has six legs or three toes on each foot with either very short or bent legs.
Here's another man like figure with a sheep.
This figure might also be anthropomorphic with a rayed circle for a head.
Just around the corner from that panel is another one with what might be a corn plant at the top.
After a few scattered images the is one other larger panel with mostly geometrical shapes.
That is most of what is to be found at the first site that we explored along Mill Creek. This site is technically outside of the Fremont Indian State Park but you are probably going to want to go ahead and pay the fee before going there because you will surely want to also stop at Mill Creek II which has both petroglyphs and pictographs. Parking anywhere along the roads in the State Park without a pass will get you a ticket.
If you would like to see the Mill Creek I site for yourself then all you have to do is 'Take a hike'.
